LandLord Life Is Boring

These few days, I read many posts of my friends sharing stock market tips.

They seem so excited about the current drop in various markets.

They tell stories, they share strategies. I can sense their excitement.

I look at my life and those fellow kakis who became landlords.

Our life is very boring. Stock markets up, stock markets down, our rental still come in.

During Covid, our rental still come in.

Tenants having cashflow issues, we share our meals. Our rental still come in.

Presidents of different countries quarrel. So what ? Rental still come in.

Life as a landlord is indeed boring.

Is boring good ?

To me, Yes…. so I can have all the free time to exercise, write books, design courses, solve other ppl’s problems, and even drive to Beo Crescent for tutu kuey and come back.

How about you ? Tell me, how will you spend your free time, when you can be like me or my kaki, who has no full-time job, and living a boring life, from rental and other streams of income ?
