My Friend’s Brother Is An International Property Investor !!
I bumped into an old friend the other day while waiting for Jill to select mango.
He knows I am a living an easy life now because of income from Singapore properties and businesses.
He asked if I could help his brother who is an International Property Investor.
After listening to his non-stop long list of the properties and problems, I got a feeling I know these properties. ( I was glad I wore face mask because I was constantly being sprayed )
You see, I have attended many courses to learn about how to squeeze passive incomes and profits from properties.
Many schools have hidden agenda. They have “lousy” properties disguised as MSW durians to sell. First, they will teach you many theories, showed past evidence and then confused you. And at that moment, they offer an easy way out, called bulk deals and first-mover advantages.
That happened to me 5 to 7 years ago. I bought those. I am still stuck with the properties. Fortunately, most are rented out and a short flight from home.
I want to sell these properties but the current market price is depressing low.
Thus the only way to make this deal profitable is to hold for another ten years. I can rent it out. So that’s not too bad. Plus the strength of SGD to RM and Thai Baht makes everything bearable.
Some of my classmates have lost money because the Developers bankrupted with their monies. No property, no money. And it seems like the whole thing was planned from the beginning. I feel their pain.
During those years when many “gurus” were pushing foreign properties, one of such school frequently placed full page advertisement selling land in a place far far far away. I went back home, googled the location and found the land very far from anywhere. No roads leading there. Shocking ! I pitied those guys who rushed to the table and issued cheques.
Then there was this One “expert’ telling people to buy houses in a certain part of USA which I was familiar with. That city was run down and going belly up. And true enough, the buyers did not get their passive income or capital gains and that “expert” disappeared into tin air.
I ever spoke to some of those buyers, most told me, “its cheap cheap, buy for play play”. Some said “no risk no gain”. And yet when we go for coffee breaks, they would ask me to buy coffee and then don’t pay me back… damn horrible …. maybe that’s how they raised cash to buy properties? KNS.
Can we invest in overseas property? Of course can lah!
If you follow a good coach, you can potentially make handsome profits. Quite a handful of my friends make handsome profits and reeling in good passive income every few months. They did most of the research themselves.
Do I recommend overseas properties to buy ? No ! Because I know nuts. ( Having said this, one student used my CHECKLIST to buy properties overseas. And she makes money ! )
People close to me will tell you that I will only recommend a property when I make money out of the property. I did not teach to be rich. I am rich first, then I teach.

1) Money making one and very happy every month with passive income and good capital gains
2) Cannot rent out, cannot sell properties and every month got to make bank payments
