I Woke Up And Cried This Morning
Over the weekend, my team and I got the rare opportunity to have a conversation with many people around my age and older than me.
Their wisdom, rich life experiences, shared thru their comments, richer my life and added very deep meanings to my purpose of living. And others too.
Some cried in class.
Some stormed out of the room. One returned a totally different person, more relaxed and less agitated; less of a victim personality.
Some went home to cry it out.
Tears of happiness, relief and perhaps hope.
When we put a group of people over 50’s in a room, their problems and our suggestions create for them, a new possibility.
>> Wisdom (rich life experience) + Freedom (Time + $$) = A lifestyle unlimited by imagination
Most people think that over 50’s mean being too late for change. No hope, its too late to change, its your destiny, just accept fate and wait to die.
What happened to the dreams of driving nice cars, staying in your dream homes (thru renting), wearing your preferred watch, even wearing colorful clothes, travelling the world in style?
Who stole your dreams ? and replace with a life of struggles, keep low profile, work hard, and don’t rock the boat ?
Last weekend, many people came to the class. I sensed their inner-beings wanting to break-free and yet being trained to conform to peer pressures.
Some of them, with fully paid-up properties and huge savings, were living a suppressed life. After a few conversations, they told me, before leaving the class, that they are bringing home some good ideas on how to unlock values from their properties, re-deployed their assets and lead a great life… one which they once upon a time wished for, but shelved it, because of society pressures and outdated mindset of money.
Being the leader in M+F, I have the privilege and honor of witnessing this transformations.
It’s a very touching moment for me. Many do not know, but there are nights I woke up crying. Feeling so happy for them. Even as I typed this message, I am crying inside me.
This weekend class for 55, I do not know why (yet), energize me in a different way.
Perhaps its because people around this age is always called “too late to change”, “life is like that”, “you are given one chance and you have missed it”, “who asked you not to study harder”, “you are lucky I gave you a job, I will replace you with younger people if you gave me more problems”…… People have said that to me.
I have many friends around this age living their life in regrets. Everything is too late for them, and their plan to expiry-date is to downgrade their flats (condo) , into a smaller flat, count every cents before spending and have good theory how the Govt screwed them.
They are alive and yet their spirits is paralyzed on a hospital bed inside prisons. I feel very sad for people like that.
Last weekend, I saw a few such people coming to spend time with us. I saw many leave the class with lots of positivism.
If you were with us over the weekend, please leave a note here. I like to read your comments.
If you were not with us over the weekend, do you think I should conduct a class for you? Before you say yes, check your IC and make sure you are over 50’s first.
There is still plenty of time, to make some small changes, and live a great life of time freedom with lesser money problems.
Life is meant to be lived and enjoyed. You are not designed to serve others.
Life, does not have to be hard.
Life is meant to be enjoyed, not later, not tomorrow, but NOW! Every minute counts.
