This morning, while in Old Airport Rd Hawker Centre, queuing for Chai Tau Kuey, someone tapped me on my shoulder.
I was thinking of telling the person “hey, don’t touch me. Got Covid you know ?”.
I turned around and saw Ah Chee. His pretty wife Ah Peng was here too. I knew them from line-dancing class many years ago.
They have a question to ask. This is a common question. Everytime, in class, I get asked this question …. Its like that same exam-question being asked every year in GCE ‘O’ Level 10-year series (does this still exist) ?
Ah Chee : Marko, I so happy to meet you.
Me : Me too. What a surprise, how are you ? Still dancing.
Ah Peng ignoring my question and shoot : We want to ask you a question.
Me : Wait, my turn to order carrot cake.
I turned to face Grumpy Uncle and ordered black no chilli. Since young, the estate nicknamed his stall “face black black carrot cake”.
I have not turned back and Ah Peng started asking.
Ah Peng : We want to rent out our office at high price, followed everything you taught but cannot ley.
Me : Show me your photo.
As she was swiping the phone, uncle called.
I took the plate and waved to Ah Chee and Ah Peng to join me in a nearby table.
I started eating and nearly choke on the chilli, thinking to myself “damn mask, uncle did not hear me said no chilli meh ? on second tot, better choke on chilli then die of covid. After all, I have not yet stayed in Sentosa GCB and parked my boat in my private berth yet. Nearly there…. So better be safe and live a long life”.
While looking for the coffee auntie, Jill came, she saw my face red and lips swelling.
Without second words, she offered her water to me. Lucky me, I tot.

Drinking halfway, Ah Chee and Ah Peng joined us.
Counting four persons per table, I felt safe. And so the chatting continue.
They showed Jill and I the photo which were very well taken. No improvements needed.
Then we asked to see their advertisements. And sure enough, its well-written, the way we shared in class.
I interviewed them about the way they communicate with Housing Agents … they did well there too.
So what’s missing ?
How come they follow every instructions and still not gotten the results ?
Do you want to know?
I can tell you now. No need to wait next week or come for class.
My reply is “ Trust the Process”.
You see, many things boil down to this thing called ….. Process/Results.
The Results you get comes from the Process you implemented earlier.
For eg, Two persons meet and fall in love. That is the Process. The Result is strong bond.
Another example… in the Process of adding Coffee Powder to Hot Water, the Result is Coffee.
So in the above case, Ah Chee and Ah Peng were too anxious to get a Tenant soon.
Jill and I have checked their Process. Its all good. We cannot find any space to improve.
The next ingredient required then is Time. We have to TRUST THE PROCESS and let Time does its work….
Just like placing a seed in the soil and letting it grow.
Sometimes its faster, sometimes its slower. That depends on external factors like locations, size of pty and the popularity of that place.
Many techniques we shared are not based on theories. We have tested them and they have worked. Most of these are timeless principles which we have invested huge amount of money and time to learn from Top Guru and local multi-millionaires.
If you want to be a better version of yourself, find the correct Process and implement it. Trust the Process. And most of the time, similar Results will happen.
I have help countless people. A good portion of them doubt themselves when the Results do not happen overnight. I have seen good friendships weaken becos of finger pointing instead of letting the process happened. Its very sad.
However, for those who trust the Process, they will definitely see Results.
Results like renting at a good price. Selling at high prices. Buying at realistic prices.
And results like living a Great Life.
Anthony Robbins is correct. Success is 2/3 Personal Development and 1/3 Technical Development.
Main Message today is : Process gets you Results.
And remember to : Trust the Process.
