Who Wants Me To Be Their Rich Dad and Rich Mom?

It was Children’s Day.

I woke up this morning wanting to celebrate this DAY with my children in different ways…. Its going to be exciting, different and empowering.

Allow me to continue ……

Many of us grew up in an environment where our parents would tell us to be realistic, contented, not to dream big and live a normal life being Mr/Miss Average. Somehow, this has brought some limitations as we become adults and join the workforce.

This was my parents’ era, their era. It is right at that time.

However, times have changed.

We have already entered a new era.

Ever since Jill and I started sharing our investing methods with many people we realize that we, unknowingly become their “Parents” encouraging them in many ways. Ways, I wish I did to my kids when they are young … Ways I wish I were encouraged when I was younger.

So, today is our special day. Its Jill and my wedding anniversary. Its been 28 years since we said “I do”.

I want to celebrate this day with you. In an unusual way.

Jill and I want to be your parents who will support your dreams…. All your dreams.

We want to be the parents that tell you “Yes you can”.

We want to walk your path with you and supporting you in words and spirits.

We want to celebrate your growth, celebrate your learning experiences.

We want to help you up if you should slip and fall.

We want to tell you its ok to take a rest when you are exhausted.

We want to tell you to love yourself first, before heading out of the house to continue to build a good life.

We want to tell you that its ok to spend a chunk of the profits to pamper yourself with good food, travels, handbags, watches, cars and motorcycles, or even an exotic radio and speakers.

But, wait, before you start telling me your dreams, allow me to set a few conditions.

1. Your dream must be big.

2. Nothing immoral.

3. No politics.

4. Must be legal.

5. Must be ethical.

6. Keep religion out of this please.

So, ready?

Regardless your age, Jill and I will be “your Parents”.
