Good morning, please see photo.
My friend from Thailand bought the whole block.
He is Mr.T.
We met about 10 years ago. I appointed him to distribute my Employer’s machines.
He did very well. Coachable, serving and yet hold his margins every time.
An amazing guy.
Today, while many people in similar trades are cutting costs, he takes the chance to beef up his property portfolio.
Slowly and steadily, he is getting less involved in the day-to-day running of his business. He delegates most of the routine work to his staff who have been with him when his company is small.
With the excess time unlocked from daily grinds, he took time out to learn from top guru in Thailand resulting in lots more passive income.
Very soon, he can play an even lesser role in his office and spend more time with his beautiful wife, cute children plus aging parents.
I am very proud of him.
I am very happy that all those conversations about life, business, retirement and property-investments is helping him to live a great lifestyle.
I have many conversations with such friends, especially during long car rides or waiting for planes.
Already those close to me in China and Taiwan are already buying properties around their areas and reeling in passive income and capital gains.
Looking back, I am already an International Property Investor without actually realising it.
The same mindset, the same observations, the same strategy, the same techniques have enabled those close to me to create multiple streams of income.
When times were good, these streams of income may not be significant.
Its only when times are tough; when the main stream of income is much reduced, that’s when a few thousand dollars passive income every month seems helpful.
My SIA team leader Mr.Hussain, once told me (long ago when I was a Steward) , and I jotted it down … he said “ one must lose something to treasure it. For example, eyesight. One must have weaker eyesights to appreciate the eyes and start taking care of them”.
I totally understood his message and made conscious efforts to stay fit… no smoke, no late nights, no alcohol, no bad habits.
And now at 55, I am happy to have a body that can physically do the things I love to do, without worrying about the money needed to finance my joy.
Life is good.
With a message like that from Thailand, life is more than good. Its great.
If you find this message helpful, please help me thank my friend in Thailand and type KKK for kob kun kup which means “thank you” in Thai.
Love, Marko
